
Camryn Stafford
Dance Faculty
Camryn Stafford is a NYC-based dancer and choreographer who holds a degree from Princeton University, where her thesis work was awarded the Toni Morrison Prize. She began her training at the Dallas Black Dance Theater and Booker T. Washington HSPVA before studying at the Alvin Ailey School and Joffrey Ballet School. Her performance credits include projects with renowned companies such as Urban Bush Women, Ronald K. Brown/EVIDENCE, and Francesca Harper.
Beyond the stage, Stafford is a dedicated arts leader and the founder of Turning Tables, a non-profit organization advocating for equity and accessibility in dance. She is a 2024-2025 CUNDY Dance Initiative Choreographer in Residence, and she has held professional positions with A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, the Misty Copeland Foundation, and Camille A. Brown & Dancers, solidifying her multifaceted career in the arts.
